With more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Neil has built his practice on trusted relationships, thoughtful financial planning, and a commitment to helping clients make informed decisions with confidence. He works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to navigate important financial milestones, develop long-term strategies, and pursue their financial goals with clarity and purpose.
Neil believes successful financial planning is about more than numbers. It begins with understanding each client's unique circumstances, values, and aspirations. His approach emphasizes personalized guidance, ongoing communication, and a long-term perspective designed to help clients feel confident about their financial future.
Raised in Piscataway, New Jersey, Neil is the oldest of three children. His mother immigrated from Scotland at the age of 16, and his paternal grandmother came from Norway. Their journeys instilled in him resilience, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for hard work and perseverance. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he formed lifelong friendships as a member of Pi Kappa Phi.
In 2022, Neil and his wife, Robyn, relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina. Robyn is a clinical therapist in private practice specializing in adolescents. Married since 1987, they are proud parents of three accomplished daughters. Samantha, a graduate of DePaul University, works as a production manager in reality television. Kirsten, a graduate of North Carolina State University, serves as Vice President of Marketing and Digital at Caraway. Pamela earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and her master's degree from Hunter College. Following in her mother's footsteps, she is a clinical therapist in private practice specializing in adults with late-diagnosed ADHD. In 2025, Neil and Robyn welcomed their first grandson, adding a joyful new chapter to their family's story.
Community involvement has always been an important part of Neil's life. He is a Past Master of the Nutley Freemasons and previously served as President of the Nutley Family Service Bureau, a longstanding organization dedicated to providing mental health counseling and food assistance to local families.
Today, Neil enjoys serving clients throughout Wilmington and beyond while remaining active in his community. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, playing board games, and cooking for family and friends. These pursuits reflect the same values that have guided his career: connection, lifelong learning, and investing time in what matters most.
