I have worked in the financial services industry for over 40 years, building my practice on experience, steady guidance, and a long-term perspective shaped by both professional insight and personal values. I believe in thoughtful planning, meaningful relationships, and helping clients make informed decisions with clarity and confidence through every stage of life.
I grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey, as the oldest of three children. My mother immigrated from Scotland at just 16, and my paternal grandmother came from Norway — backgrounds that instilled in me resilience, adaptability, and a deep respect for hard work. I attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where I formed lifelong friendships as a member of Pi Kappa Phi.
In 2022, my wife, Robyn, and I relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina. She is a clinical therapist in private practice specializing in teenagers. Married since 1987, we are proud parents of three accomplished daughters. Samantha, a graduate of DePaul University, works as an production manager on a reality television show. Kirsten, a graduate of North Carolina State University, serves as VP of Marketing and Digital for Caraway. Pamela earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and her master’s degree from Hunter College; like her mother, she is now a clinical therapist in private practice specializing in adults with late diagnosed ADHD. In 2025, we welcomed our first grandson — a joyful new chapter for our entire family.
Community involvement has always been important to me. I am a Past Master of the Nutley Freemasons and previously served as president of the Nutley Family Service Bureau, a longstanding organization dedicated to providing mental health counseling and food assistance to local families.
In my leisure time, I enjoy golfing, playing board games, and cooking for family and friends — pursuits that help me stay balanced, engaged, and continually learning.
